End User License Agreement

The license, in plain words

When you buy an AcusMagic instrument (e.g. Sonicrama V2) you get a perpetual, personal license from Zaplab (VAT IT 03893420541): yours forever, no subscription, fully functional offline.

What you may do

• Install and activate on up to 3 machines you own, used non-simultaneously.
• Use it for any musical or audiovisual work, commercial included. What you create is entirely yours.
• Resell your license: transfer it once to another person via a request to support (we re-register it to the new owner and deactivate your machines).
• Deactivate a machine yourself to free a seat (self-service from the license portal).

What you may not do

• Share one license across multiple people or distribute your license file.
• Reverse-engineer, crack, or circumvent the licensing system.
• Redistribute the software, factory content, or derivatives of them as your own product.

Demo

The free demo never expires and may be used indefinitely within its stated limits (session length, watermarked export, no preset saving).

Review & beta licenses

Review (NFR) licenses are full-featured but non-transferable and non-resellable. Beta licenses expire at the end of the test period.

Updates and support

Minor updates (2.x) are included. Major versions may be paid upgrades, discounted for owners. Support is provided directly by the developer via email.

The instrument can check once a day whether a newer version exists and shows a discreet note when one is — never a pop-up. The check is on by default, announced once the first time the window opens, and can be switched off at any time in OPTIONS → GENERAL → UPDATES. What it sends, and the license refresh that comes with activation, are listed in the Privacy Policy. Neither request can ever disable an activated license.

Termination

The license terminates only on material breach (e.g. cracking or redistribution). Perpetual means perpetual: we never remotely disable a legitimately activated installation.
